Overview

The MT3608-2A is a small and efficient DC-DC boost converter that increases lower voltages to higher output levels. It includes a USB-C input connector for simple powering and can boost voltages from as low as 2 V up to 28 V. It is suitable for battery-powered devices, portable circuits, LED drivers, and general prototyping where a stable higher voltage is needed.

Safety and notes

• Always calibrate the output voltage before use. Connect a 1 kΩ – 10 kΩ resistor to the output, measure the voltage, and adjust it with the potentiometer before connecting sensitive electronics. 
  

• Do not short the output or exceed the maximum current.

• Output voltage increases as you turn the potentiometer clockwise; measure before connecting loads.

• Heat increases at higher currents, so airflow or heatsinking may be needed at heavy loads.
