The VG18011A is the essential "missing link" for your custom power projects. Bench Notes for the Build

• Solder Fast: To keep the center pin perfectly aligned, we recommend plugging the connector into a "sacrifice" female jack while soldering. This acts as a jig to keep everything straight if the internal plastic softens from the iron's heat.

• Cable Prep: This plug is best suited for 20AWG to 24AWG wire. If using thicker wire, ensure your heat shrink is thin enough to allow the outer shell to screw back on completely.

• Polarity Reminder: By convention, the shorter terminal is usually the Center Positive (+) and the longer terminal (which clamps the wire) is the Grounded Sleeve (-). Always verify with your multimeter!
